Dear Friend,

Spend no more than you make. Borrow no more than you can afford to pay back.

These are principles we were taught by our parents to practice in our homes, but are not used in government. We should have all the government we need, but only the government we need.

Connecticut's economy is suffering and hasn't fully recovered since the recession. We are losing jobs and people, and we continually rank at the bottom of the lists of states with the best climate for business.

Leaders in Hartford are not offering solutions; only band-aids. I am fighting for Fairfield at our state Captiol every day, and I will continue to fight for common sense solutions and economic growth in Fairfield as your First Selectwoman.

I am working to defeat reckless policies like shifting the cost of teachers' pensions onto towns and cities, which will place a hefty financial burden on our town for years to come.

As First Selectwoman, I will continue to push back against legislation that will hurt the taxpayers of Fairfield.

Common sense solutions, prioritizing, and bringing all political parties together is the leadership Fairfield needs.

To be successful will require hard work, dedication, and yes, money.  I hope you will donate to my campaign and help me lead Fairfield into the future.

Please do not hesitate to contact me at my home 203.336.1724 or by email at bkupchick@gmail.com.

Sincerely,
